DEM and CFD simulation(Animation)

The project analyses the performance and wear patterns of a middling chute in a crushing feed operation using the Discrete Element Method (DEM). As requested by client, the investigation aims to improve material flow dynamics and optimize chute design for greater efficiency and reduced maintenance costs. Key objectives: - Evaluate flow patterns and velocities of lump materials within the chute. - Identify areas experiencing high-impact forces and excessive wear. - Analyse lump material movement to pinpoint potential wear-prone zones.
